Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Manager to join our company's finance team. As an Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Manage all aspects of financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets, prepare financial forecasts, and identify areas for cost optimization.
Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis, interpret data, and provide insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making.
Month-end and Year-end Close: Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and relevant regulations. Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Audit and Tax Support: Coordinate and assist with external audits and tax filings, liaising with auditors and tax professionals as required.
Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate financial information to internal and external stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and clients.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement efficient accounting procedures, and contribute to the enhancement of overall financial operations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) are highly desirable.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a proven track record of managing financial operations and teams.

Strong Knowledge: Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and relevant regulations (e.g., GAAP). Familiarity with tax laws and regulations is a plus.

Analytical Skills: Proficient in financial analysis, data interpretation, and forecasting. Ability to identify trends, patterns, and potential financial risks.

Software Proficiency: Experience working with accounting software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced proficiency in MS Excel for financial analysis.

Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain precise financial records and detect errors.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills, including team management, delegation, and the ability to motivate and develop team members.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
