UX Designer

Allied Insurance is looking for a skilled and passionate UX Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in user experience design, with a strong foundation in user research, wireframing, and prototyping. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can effectively translate complex user needs into intuitive and engaging digital experiences. The UX Designer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance user interactions and elevate the brand's online presence. As this role does not involve managing a team, the focus will be on individual contributions and collaborating with peers to ensure the delivery of outstanding user experiences. The successful candidate will excel in conducting user research and usability testing and will possess expertise in using design tools such as Figma. The UX Designer will be responsible for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas effectively. A solid understanding of responsive design principles and information architecture is essential to ensure that our products are user-friendly and accessible across various devices. Responsibilities

Conduct user research to gather insights on user needs, preferences, and behaviors.
Create user personas and journey maps to inform design decisions.
Design wireframes and prototypes that clearly demonstrate design concepts and interactions.
Perform usability testing and analyze results to iterate on designs and improve user experience.
Utilize design tools such as Figma to produce high-quality visual designs and interactive prototypes.
Implement design thinking methodologies to solve complex problems and enhance product usability.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align on project objectives and deliverables.
Ensure designs adhere to best practices of responsive design and information architecture principles.
Run A/B testing to evaluate design variations and make data-driven decisions.
Gather and incorporate feedback from users and team members to refine design solutions.
Present design concepts and rationales to stakeholders and advocate for user-centered design principles.
