We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to join our team in overseeing the quality standards in webbing production. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of yarn types, filaments, narrow fabric specifications, and color shade accuracy. You will be responsible for ensuring that all webbing products meet internal standards and client requirements through systematic inspection, testing, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming yarns and filaments for compliance with technical specifications.
Monitor webbing production processes to ensure consistent quality in dimensions, weave patterns, and material performance.
Perform regular sampling and testing of finished webbing products for tensile strength, elongation, shrinkage, and colorfastness.
Verify correct yarn types (e.g., nylon, polyester, polypropylene) are used according to product specifications.
Check color shade consistency across batches using approved shade cards and instruments.
Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspections, deviations, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with production and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and improve product standards.
Conduct audits of manufacturing processes and suggest improvements to enhance quality output.
Train production staff on quality expectations and inspection techniques.
Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and relevant industry standards.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control within a webbing or narrow fabrics production environment.
Strong technical knowledge of yarn types, filament structures, and narrow fabric weaving techniques.
Familiarity with yarn dimensions control, shade matching systems, and textile testing equipment.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
Proficient in documentation, reporting, and data analysis.
Knowledge of ISO quality standards in textile manufacturing is a plus.
Diploma or degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, or related field preferred.
