Responsibilities

Manage the preparation and maintenance of tax records and documentation to support compliance.
Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure accurate sales tax calculations and reporting.
Provide guidance and training to team members regarding tax compliance standards and procedures.
Implement and oversee sales tax filing procedures, ensuring the use of appropriate tax compliance software.
Identify areas for process improvement and automation in sales tax filing and reporting.
Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and regulations that could impact the organization.
Assist in the resolution of sales tax issues by responding to inquiries and providing necessary documentation during audits.
Prepare and analyze data analytics reports to identify trends and assist in strategic decision-making related to tax.
Work closely with external auditors during tax audits and ensure all required information is provided promptly.
Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions to analyze sales data and prepare reports for management review.
Communicate effectively with internal departments and external tax authorities to ensure smooth operations.
Support the development and implementation of tax management systems and automated filing tools.
