Job Title: Asst. Manager Finance & Taxation
Reports to: [CFO /CEO]
Job Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Finance & Taxation to deal our finance and taxation functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, taxation, and accounting, with excellent analytical and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management:
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
2. Taxation:
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements
- Manage tax audits, assessments, and disputes
3. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and other documents
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting
4. Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of finance and taxation professionals
- Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities
5. Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate financial and tax risks
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to manage risks
6. Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including management, audit committee, and external auditors
- Communicate financial and tax information to stakeholders
Requirements:
1. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) preferred
2. Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in finance and taxation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
3. Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to interpret and apply financial and tax regulations
4. Certifications:
- ACA, ACCA, CPA, or other relevant certifications are desirable
