Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure timely and error-free bookkeeping across multiple accounting platforms, including QuickBooks Online & Desktop (QBO & QBD) and Sage.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, visa cards, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Prepare periodic management and financial reports that inform strategic decisions.
  • Familiarity with Canadian laws, regulations, and practices is a plus and capable of efficiently managing tax returns. 
  • Issue payroll efficiently using QuickBooks Desktop (QBD), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications: 

  • CA, ACCA, MBA Finance, BS Accounting, or B.Com.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role, particularly with international clients.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks (Online & Desktop) and Sage, with knowledge of year-end financial reports being a plus.➔ Solid understanding of AP/AR and accrual-based accounting systems.
  • Knowledge of Caseware, Jazzit & Profile, Karbon, and Teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
