Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed audit plans focusing on food safety standards such as ISO 22000, HACCP, and other relevant regulations.
Coordinate with food safety management teams to gather necessary information and documentation.
Evaluate the effectiveness of food safety management systems and controls.
Identify non-conformities, areas of improvement, and potential risks in food safety practices.
Document audit findings, prepare detailed audit reports, and present recommendations to senior management.
Ensure audit documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with food safety standards and regulations.
Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective implementation of corrective actions.
Lead and mentor a team of food safety auditors, providing guidance and support.
Foster a collaborative environment with production and quality assurance teams to facilitate the audit process.
Provide training and development opportunities for audit staff in food safety standards and practices.
Stay updated with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and new food safety audit techniques.
Participate in the development and implementation of food safety audit policies and procedures.
Ensure the organization complies with relevant food safety laws, regulations, and standards.
Assist in the development of risk management and compliance programs specific to food safety.
Certified Food Safety Auditor CFSA, Certified HACCP Auditor (CHA), or equivalent certification
Conduct internal audit as necessary
