1. Developing and tracking benchmarks for measuring institutional success.
2. Ensure compliance with all procedures, systems, and policies, reviewing practices in relation to international, national, and area-wise best practices and making recommendations for changes to best-fit student learning outcomes by submitting a draft and administering these after getting approval.
3. Eligible for recommendations for hiring and firing of faculty according to University and PNC criteria.
4. Responsible for the fair induction of students of all the disciplines, in accordance with PNC and affiliated university criteria.
5. Responsible for take decisions in uncertain situations according to Govt notifications. Such as emergency holidays or public holidays.
6. Responsible for conducting PTM quarterly with the help of the VP and class coordinator.
7. Responsible for developing academic calendars in accordance with the University calendar and execute accordingly.
8. Responsible for developing monthly scheduling of each discipline and monitoring its effective implementation by the faculty.
9. Responsible for leading and supervising the extracurricular activities with the recreational committee.
10. Identifies technical training/learning needs of teaching and non-teaching staff and furnishes a list along with a need assessment report to the CEO for approval and perusal.
11. Establishes and promotes high standards and expectations for all students and staff for academic performance and responsibility for behavior.
12. Establish the annual master schedule for instructional programs, ensuring sequential learning experiences for students consistent with the philosophy, mission statement, program objectives, and instructional guidelines.
13. Supervise the instructional programs, evaluate lesson plans, and observe classes (teaching, as duties allow) regularly to encourage the use of a variety of instructional strategies.
14. Establish procedures for the evaluation and selection of instructional materials and equipment, approving all recommendations.
15. Supervise in a fair and consistent manner effective discipline and attendance systems.
16. Ensure a safe, orderly environment that encourages students to take responsibility for behavior and creates high morale among staff and students.
17. File all required reports regarding violence, vandalism, attendance, and discipline matters.
18. Research and collect data regarding the needs of students, and other pertinent information including the collection of detail regarding the performance of teaching faculty/ non-teaching staff.
19. Conduct regular meetings as necessary, to ensure the proper functioning of the college.
20. Establish and maintain an effective inventory system for all supplies, materials, and equipment.
21. Providing an atmosphere free of any bias in which students can achieve their maximum potential.
22. Submits a monthly report on college operations to the CEO and an overall annual report including extension services and further development plans for approval.
23. Perform any duties that are within the scope of employment, as assigned.
