Back-End Developer (Laravel)

Key Responsibilities
Build visually appealing and functional websites using HTML and CSS to translate creative concepts into reality. Work closely with designers and developers to create web applications and backend mobile solutions. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely content launches, maintaining clear communication of deadlines and expectations. Prepare contingency plans and backup solutions to ensure site reliability and uptime. Continuously enhance and maintain the website by adding new features and keeping content current. Lead projects and manage teams when necessary, overseeing initiatives from inception through to completion. Adapt quickly to new challenges and tasks in a fast-paced work setting.

Required Qualifications
Possess a determined and ambitious mindset with a strong work ethic and a drive for continuous self-improvement. Demonstrate deep technical knowledge with a solid background in mobile and web application development. Have proven IT experience and a firm understanding of programming fundamentals. Experience working with Stripe documentation and proficiency in Git version control are essential. Familiarity with unit testing and writing testable code is required. Knowledge of Nuxt and agile software development methodologies is important. Candidates must have a reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, along with their own working laptop or desktop computer.

Backend-Specific Qualifications
Extensive experience with Laravel 8 or the Laravel Framework is necessary. Strong skills in SQL schema design and adherence to SOLID principles are required. Knowledge of MySQL profiling and query optimization techniques is expected. Understanding scalable application design principles is important. Experience developing REST APIs and generating documentation using Postman is essential. Familiarity with server setup and management on DigitalOcean and Amazon Web Services platforms is preferred.
