Cashier

As a Fast Food Restaurant Cashier, you will be responsible for providing efficient and friendly service to customers while handling transactions accurately. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive customer experience and contributing to the overall smooth operation of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Provide information about menu items and promotions.

2. Order Processing:

Use the restaurant's point-of-sale (POS) system to input orders.
Ensure order accuracy and make necessary modifications as per customer requests.
Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.

4. Upselling and Promotions:

Suggest additional items or upgrades to increase sales.
Inform customers about current promotions or special offers.

5. Maintaining Cleanliness:

Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Assist with general cleaning tasks as needed.

6. Team Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members.
Work collaboratively to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

7. Handling Customer Inquiries:

Address customer questions or concerns in a professional manner.
Collaborate with the manager for complex or escalated issues.

8. Compliance with Health and Safety Standards:

Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of food.

10. Cash Handling and Reporting:

Handle cash transactions securely and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.

Qualifications:

Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility in working various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
