An International NGO is currently seeking a Career development trainer having expertise of Livelihood. The position will be based in Mardan, with frequent travel to, Mardan, Nowshera, Swabi, Buner, Malakand, Lower Dir, Upper Dir, Chitral, Haripur and Mansehra KP.

Objective 1:  Coordination & Information gaining

Activities: 

  • Represent the organization in the community and relevant stakeholders, mobilize and organize available resources to attain project objectives.
  • To get knowledge about the return strategy of Afghan Refugees, information about their areas of origin, and orient them about it. Also, help them in the development of their return plans.
  • Liaise and ensure access to the community, identify potential beneficiaries, and Training Centres for employable skills and Economic Development.
  • Responsible and capable of guiding target beneficiaries for appropriate skills after analysing potential, motivation and career path Counselling.
  • Career Development Trainer needs to develop a number of return plans for Afghan Refugees.
  • Build and maintain good rapport with all stakeholders and ensure accessibility towards the most vulnerable families.

Objective 2: Conduction of Training:

Activities: 

  • To develop a training and session plan to train Trainees in career development counselling.
  • Counselling and Motivation to trainees for optimal learning and job placement.
  • Responsible and capable of guiding target beneficiaries for appropriate skills after analysing potential, motivation and career path Counselling.
  • Identify resources for training and employment opportunities both in the local market as well as abroad (place of origin).
  • Disseminate information and counselling to guardians and parents Organize Events for instance Job fair, and stakeholder meetings and ensure meaningful participation.

Objective 3: Documentation:

Activities:

  • Documentation and record keeping of ongoing activities, Identify/suggest potential interventions at the grassroots level.
  • Documentation of every training and workshop with visuals according to the designed template.
  • Pre-test and post-test should be validated with the line manager, and keep it recorded.
  • Identify and document the most significant cases (case studies).

Objective 4: Reporting:

Activities:

  • Assist Management with feedback and timely reporting for observation and analysis in field activities and maintaining a database for follow-up impact or lessons Learnt.
  • Pay regular field monitoring and supporting visits as well ensuring proper implementation of planned activities, especially on-job support to the individual at the workplace.
