We are a leading medical supplier business in Lahore, Pakistan, dedicated to providing high-quality medical equipment and supplies to healthcare facilities. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team and support our financial operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including filing returns and maintaining records as per Pakistan’s tax laws (e.g., FBR requirements).
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business growth.
- Monitor inventory costs and ensure accurate financial tracking of medical supplies.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure all financial records are audit-ready.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- A minimum, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting field is required.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CA, CMA) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a medical, pharmaceutical, or supply chain business.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Pakistan’s tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English and Urdu.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
