We’re looking for a creative and passionate Social Media Associate to help share our mission, connect with our community, and grow our digital presence. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, stays on top of trends, and genuinely cares about mental health, especially in children and families.
Key Responsibilities
Content Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain a social media calendar across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, aligning content with ongoing campaigns, awareness dates, and program updates.
Creative Content Creation: Design and post engaging graphics, infographics, captions, and educational content. Create short-form videos and Reels that are fun, informative, and on-trend.
Community Engagement: Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a warm and thoughtful voice. Help nurture a supportive online community for parents, educators, and advocates.
Trend Research: Monitor social media trends, mental health topics, and relevant pop culture to develop fresh, relevant content ideas.
Analytics & Insights: Track key performance metrics and engagement rates. Provide monthly reports with recommendations to grow and improve reach and impact.
Qualifications
Strong grasp of Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn platforms
Proficient with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
Skilled in creating and editing Reels or short-form video content
Understanding of basic analytics and how to interpret engagement data
Excellent written communication skills with an empathetic and inclusive tone
Bonus: Experience or passion for mental health, child development, or family advocacy
