We are looking for a Deputy Manager Accounts to support the development and implementation of accounting policies, manage financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting team, overseeing financial transactions and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting: Oversee financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements, management reports, and other financial reports.

2. Accounting Policies: Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

3. Team Management: Manage and lead the accounting team, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure team success.

4. Financial Transactions: Oversee financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

6. Audit: Liaise with internal and external auditors, and ensure implementation of audit recommendations.

Requirements:

1. Qualifications: Part qualified CA (ICAP), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.

2. Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

3. Skills:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

4. Personal Qualities:

- Integrity and professionalism.

- Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering results.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
