You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, creating and managing Upwork profiles, crafting tailored proposals, and nurturing relationships with clients. This role combines research, communication, and strategic planning to drive client acquisition and grow business opportunities on the Upwork platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Profile Optimization:
- Create and maintain an Upwork profile that reflects the company’s services and expertise.
- Ensure the profile is updated regularly to enhance visibility.
Client Acquisition:
- Research potential clients and job postings that align with the company’s offerings.
- Identify niches and industries to target on Upwork.
Proposal Writing:
- Write compelling, customized proposals for job postings to win projects.
- Highlight the company’s strengths, portfolio, and relevant experiences.
Communication and Follow-Up:
- Communicate effectively with potential clients through Upwork messages.
- Follow up on submitted proposals to maximize chances of success.
Strategy and Analysis:
- Analyze trends and competitors on Upwork to stay ahead in the market.
- Create strategies for increasing job success rates and client satisfaction.
Collaboration:
- Work with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution post-hiring.
- Provide insights and feedback on client needs and preferences.
Reporting:
- Maintain records of proposals submitted, projects won, and overall performance.
- Report progress and challenges to the supervisor regularly.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to craft tailored, persuasive proposals.
- Familiarity with Upwork or similar freelancing platforms is a plus.
- Basic understanding of business development and sales principles.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
