Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Associate. The ideal candidate will manage the Point of Sale (POS) system, handle incoming orders (phone and in-person), and ensure a seamless customer experience at the restaurant's front desk.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Management:
- Take and process customer orders via phone calls and in-person interactions.
- Accurately input orders into the POS system.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and delivery staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu inquiries or order customizations.
- Address customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate issues when needed.
POS Management:
- Operate and maintain the POS system, ensuring accurate billing and payment processing.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and maintain records of daily sales.
General Front Desk Duties:
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Provide information about restaurant promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of front desk supplies (e.g., receipts, menus).
Team Coordination:
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, delivery drivers, and management for smooth operations.
- Provide feedback on customer preferences or recurring concerns to help improve services.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in customer service is a plus.
Experience with POS systems and order management in a restaurant setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math and cash-handling skills.
