You will play a vital role in facilitating the smooth and efficient movement of goods for our clients. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the dispatch process, ensuring timely pickup and delivery of shipments while maintaining clear communication with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and review transportation orders from clients.
- Assign and dispatch appropriate trucks and drivers to fulfill orders.
- Monitor driver activities and progress in real-time using dispatch software.
- Proactively address any issues or delays to ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve dispatch processes and procedures.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in truck dispatching or logistics coordination preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software and other relevant tools.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
