We are seeking a highly experienced Structural or Architectural Engineer fluent in English, with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience, to act as the primary liaison between our local firm and partner offices in India, Pakistan, and Malaysia. The ideal candidate will facilitate project collaboration, ensure technical alignment, and lead joint project execution with international stakeholders.
1. Academic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architecture from an accredited university.
Master’s degree in Project Management (MBA/PMP) or an advanced specialization in Structural/Architectural Design is a plus.
Minimum 15 years of experience in structural or architectural design, particularly in large-scale projects.
Proven experience collaborating with international consulting firms, especially in India, Pakistan, and Malaysia.
Experience managing multinational engineering teams and coordinating across offices.
Familiarity with international design and construction codes (American, British, European, or Gulf standards).
Engineering Software Proficiency:
Structural: ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, Revit Structure
Architectural: AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, 3D Max, SketchUp
Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling).
Understanding of quality control and international project specifications.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); IELTS/TOEFL preferred if English is not the native language.
Ability to prepare technical reports and presentations in English.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills for successful partnership building.
Basic knowledge of Urdu or Malay is an advantage, not a requirement.
Familiarity with international contract systems (e.g., FIDIC).
Experience preparing technical and financial proposals.
Understanding of regional markets (India, Pakistan, Malaysia), including:
Design and consultancy costs
Local construction laws and regulations
Business culture and practices
Ability to work under pressure and manage projects across time zones.
Strong leadership and motivational skills for managing remote teams.
Willingness to travel internationally to partner offices when needed.
Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent.
Project Management Professional (PMP).
Quality & Safety Certifications (e.g., LEED, ISO).
Communicate with international offices to establish consultancy partnerships.
Review and assess technical proposals for joint projects.
Coordinate between local and foreign teams to maintain design quality.
Draft and review partnership agreements, ensuring legal compliance.
Resolve technical and administrative issues arising during collaboration.
