The ideal candidate will manage gate operations, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain security standards while fostering a collaborative working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage gate operations by checking in and out vehicles, verifying shipping documents, and maintaining accurate records of shipments.
- Monitor and control gate traffic to prevent unauthorized access and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth logistical operations.
- Prepare and update daily logs of vehicle movements, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Work on the integration of ERP systems across departments and mitigate errors in alignment with company standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: 1-2 years of relevant job experience in an industrial unit, preferably textiles.
Education: Matriculation/Intermediate from a recognized board.
Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with logistics documentation and procedures.
- Basic understanding of transportation and shipping regulations.
General Skills:
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in professional email and report writing.
- Effective listener with a keen ability to absorb technical knowledge.
