Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive ETL test plans and test cases to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data. You will validate data transformation, quality, and reconciliation processes with meticulous attention to detail. Your role will involve writing SQL scripts to support data validation and test automation efforts. Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with developers and business analysts to fully understand ETL requirements and workflows.
Additionally, you will develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java, ensuring robust test coverage. Conducting parallel and cross-browser testing will be part of your responsibilities to guarantee consistent application performance. Active participation in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and review sessions, is expected. Maintaining detailed documentation of test results, defects, and process improvements will support continuous quality enhancement.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have over five years of hands-on experience in ETL testing, with a strong emphasis on data validation and reconciliation. Proficiency in SQL scripting for data validation and automation is essential. You must demonstrate experience in creating and executing detailed test plans and test cases.
Hands-on expertise with Selenium and Java for automation testing is required, along with familiarity with automation frameworks such as Page Object Model and Page Factory. A solid understanding of batch jobs, data flow testing, and data quality validation techniques is also necessary to excel in this role.
