Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting- ACCA
- 7-10 yr strong multi national experience
- International or European experience is nice to have
- Good experience in accounting, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, or auditing
- Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to proactively manage a variety of projects and timelines; demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness and an ability to manage multiple clients, assignments and deliverables
- Requires understanding of all accounting and financial transactions to include project-based accounting, job costing, indirect cost tracking and rate calculations, reconciliation of accounts, and adjustments
- Should have working knowledge of GAAP
Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing
- They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
- Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
- Research and analyze expense variances for company management
