We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tax Accountant & Finance Officer to join our finance team. This role combines tax expertise with financial management responsibilities to support accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and sound financial decision-making within a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities: Taxation:
- Prepare and file corporate, sales, and withholding tax returns in compliance with FBR and other applicable laws.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax payments, filings, and documentation.
- Conduct internal tax audits and assist with external audits.
- Stay updated with Pakistan tax regulations and ensure company compliance.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and regulatory authorities as needed.
Finance & Accounting:
- Maintain general ledger, financial records, and accurate bookkeeping.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Manage bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing.
- Provide financial insights to support project costing and business planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field (ACCA/CA/ICMA certification is a plus).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in tax and financial accounting, preferably in a construction or multinational company.
- Strong knowledge of Pakistan tax laws, corporate regulations, and IFRS.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally) and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
