Civil Engineer

The ideal candidate should possess advanced technical skills in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Structural Analysis, Project Management, and Quantity Surveying. As a Civil Engineer at our firm, you will lead and manage a team of 2 while taking charge of a variety of projects across commercial, residential, and institutional sectors. You will be responsible for supervising site inspections, preparing detailed drawings, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities

Lead and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring all phases of project management are effectively executed.
Conduct site inspections to assess work quality and verify compliance with design specifications, local codes, and safety regulations.
Develop detailed engineering plans and drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring clarity and precision throughout all project documentation.
Prepare and review project budgets and forecasts, utilizing Quantity Surveying skills to monitor financial performance and mitigate cost overruns.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and communication is maintained for optimal workflow.
Utilize Microsoft Project for creating timelines and schedules to efficiently allocate resources and maximize productivity across the team.
Perform structural analysis and design calculations to assess the safety and functionality of structures, implementing necessary adjustments as needed.
Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss project status, challenges, and solutions, promoting a collaborative environment that encourages feedback and innovation.
