We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our restaurant team. The Cashier will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional customer service while accurately handling transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
Take orders accurately and process payments using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly, including cash, credit, and other payment methods.
Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
Assist with packaging takeout orders and ensuring order accuracy.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Adhere to all restaurant policies, health, and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role (preferred but not required).
Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
