Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the imaging department, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and ensuring that all procedures adhere to established protocols and standards.
Supervise and support a team of CT and MRI technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure high levels of competency and job satisfaction.
Monitor and evaluate imaging procedures and outcomes to maintain and improve the quality of diagnostic images. Implement and oversee quality control measures and address any issues promptly.
Ensure that all imaging equipment is properly maintained and serviced. Coordinate with vendors for repairs, upgrades, and routine maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Oversee patient interactions within the imaging department, ensuring that patients are informed, comfortable, and receive high-quality care throughout their visit.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines, including radiation safety protocols and infection control measures. Conduct regular safety audits and staff training sessions.
Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate effective communication and coordination of imaging services.
Handle administrative tasks including budgeting, inventory management, and reporting. Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
