Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and configure Guidewire applications, including Policy Center, Claim Center, and Billing Center. Customize these solutions by creating and modifying workflows, business rules, and integrations to align with specific organizational requirements. Develop and maintain seamless integrations between Guidewire systems and external platforms using APIs and web services.
Create and execute comprehensive test plans, perform unit testing, and ensure the delivery of robust, high-quality software solutions. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Guidewire applications, promptly resolving production issues to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed technical documentation such as design specifications, user guides, and process flows to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
Collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. Apply scientific methods to analyze and resolve software engineering challenges, contributing original thought and sound judgment. Supervise and mentor junior software engineers, managing both technical guidance and administrative responsibilities. Continuously enhance your expertise in software engineering disciplines and actively participate as a collaborative team member within the broader software engineering community.
Required Qualifications
Extensive experience configuring and enhancing Guidewire Policy Center, including workflows, rules, and integration points. Proven proficiency in developing and configuring Claim Center, with a strong understanding of claim processing workflows and integration with external systems. Solid background in Billing Center configuration and customization, particularly related to payment processing and billing rules.
Expertise in using Guidewire Studio for application development, debugging, and troubleshooting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply scientific methods to complex software engineering problems. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within diverse teams and collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Experience supervising and mentoring software engineering teams is highly desirable.
