Senior Manager Production Material & Control

Haier is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Manager of Production Material & Control to oversee our production planning and execution processes. This position requires a strong strategic leader capable of managing a diverse team of 25 professionals. The ideal candidate will combine extensive knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations with a commitment to operational excellence and quality assurance. You will work closely with the commercial, vendor, and inventory departments to ensure timely material availability and maintain seamless production workflows, thereby supporting the achievement of organizational goals and objectives. As a proactive leader, you will cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices within your team to drive efficiency and reduce costs while addressing production challenges that may arise.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the production planning and management control processes to align with organizational objectives.
Ensure seamless coordination among commercial, vendor, and inventory departments to guarantee timely availability of materials for uninterrupted production workflows.
Align production planning and execution with strategic goals, ensuring adherence to production schedules and closure targets.
Monitor and optimize inventory levels, including work-in-progress inventory, to prevent overstocking, minimize waste, and maintain operational efficiency.
Conduct production capacity analysis to identify improvement opportunities that align with growth strategies and changing sales demands.
Establish, implement, and enforce quality control standards to reduce defects and ensure the delivery of high-quality products consistently.
Proactively address production challenges, including supply chain disruptions, to minimize downtime and ensure continuity in operations.
Drive operational excellence by implementing lean manufacturing principles, optimizing efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing cost-effectiveness.
Foster workforce development through leadership training programs, identifying targeted skill enhancement opportunities, and succession planning for key production roles.
Ensure production targets are achieved while upholding the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Provide regular performance updates and reports to senior management regarding production and material control metrics.
