Senior Specialist Planning and Budgeting

Highnoon Laboratories is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Specialist in Planning and Budgeting to enhance our financial planning and analysis capabilities. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and monitoring of our budgeting processes. You will collaborate with various departments to provide insightful data that informs critical business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills, and will have a passion for delivering high-quality financial support in a rapidly evolving corporate environment. Although this position does not involve managing a team, it is essential to liaise with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment in financial goals and strategies. This role is perfect for individuals who have a solid foundation in financial analysis and are eager to contribute to the strategic direction of the company.
Responsibilities

Assist in the creation and maintenance of the annual budget, ensuring all departments adhere to forecasts and financial goals.
Conduct thorough financial forecasting to provide reliable projections that aid strategic decision-making.
Perform variance analysis by comparing budgeted figures to actual performance, identifying discrepancies, and recommending corrective actions.
Leverage advanced Excel skills and data analysis tools to compile and present financial data in clear, actionable formats for management review.
Utilize financial modeling techniques to develop scenarios that reflect various business strategies and their potential financial impacts.
Support the implementation of budgeting software, including SAP, to streamline budgeting processes and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather budget inputs and ensure financial alignment across all areas of the business.
Engage in regular financial reporting, providing insights and trends that facilitate informed decision-making by leadership.
Monitor cost control measures and assess spending against budgetary constraints to maintain financial health.
Identify opportunities for performance improvement through data visualization and statistical analysis to enhance financial processes.
