We are looking for an experienced and analytical Planning Engineer to oversee project scheduling and ensure the timely delivery of all construction milestones. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project, with a solid understanding of construction processes and resource management.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 5 years of proven planning experience in construction projects
Hands-on expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other project management tools
Strong understanding of construction workflows, budgeting, and resource planning
Develop and update comprehensive project schedules using Primavera or MS Project
Coordinate with project, site, and design teams to align schedules with construction sequences
Monitor project timelines, resource allocation, and critical paths
Prepare and present progress reports, delay analyses, and recovery plans
Identify potential delays and bottlenecks, and proactively recommend solutions
Assist in the preparation of cash flow forecasts, procurement schedules, and labour histograms
Track actual progress against baseline schedules and generate variance reports
Ensure alignment with client deadlines, internal targets, and contractual obligations
Advanced scheduling skills and understanding of construction sequencing
Excellent command of Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and related tools
Strong communication and coordination skills with multi-disciplinary teams
Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of EOT claims, risk analysis, and planning best practices
