Departmental Objectives:
Expand the product portfolio.
Explore 80-90% of the production capacity by tapping into prospective opportunities.
Add value to the existing product line and clientele through new/improved products and accessories.
Build strong business networking with existing and potential clients as part of corporate branding.
Short term objectives:
Facilitate sales team building in collaboration with GM (Sales & Operations) supervision.
Engage with existing clientele and explore new opportunities as per the sales strategy.
Strengthen the dealer network as per senior management's directives.
Responsibilities:
Managing Sales:
Search and qualify potential leads within the designated network/area.
Develop and/or ensure proper implementation of a structured price and discount policy mechanism with supervisor approval and keep the sales team updated.
Ensure billing verification to clients in compliance with agreed prices and discounts.
Leading Sales Squad:
Prepare and implement sales targets against well-defined KPIs in consultation with the GM (Sales & Operations) and ensure achievement through the sales team.
Source, train, and develop the sales team to cultivate emerging opportunities in the market.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
Monitor monthly sales targets and recovery status for all teams and report the same to the supervisor.
Excelling in Market Dynamics:
Explore new markets and monitor existing markets to ensure a cutting-edge strategy; stay updated with market trends, competitors, and industry changes.
Prepare and/or launch desirable marketing and branding activities with the supervisor's approval.
Participate in relevant trade shows, conferences, and seminars regionally, nationally, and internationally (if required).
Assist the GM (Sales & Operations) in preparing business cases for new products, perform business simulations, and financial impact calculations based on marketing activities and product roadmaps.
Strengthening Client Relationships, Networking, & Retention:
Maintain strong, cordial relationships with clients.
Conduct sales agreements/renewals and sign MoUs (Memorandums of Understanding) with potential and existing clients.
Provide regular feedback regarding product lines and client-specific requirements to the concerned product development teams for swift product development, runtime complaints resolution, and long-term customer retention.
Experience:
10 to 15 years of sales experience (preferably in the pipe/construction industry)
Qualification:
Minimum graduation (preferably in Marketing).
