We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, managing budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures, accounting principles, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure accurate and timely closing of financial periods in accordance with company policies.
Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts, including inventory, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Audit statements and ledgers and Bank Reconciliation on a semi-annually basis.

Cost Accounting:

Oversee and manage the cost accounting process, ensuring accurate tracking of production costs, labor, overhead, and inventory.
Analyze cost variance reports and provide recommendations for cost optimization and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; M.COM/ MBA Finance or others
Minimum of [3-5] years of accounting experience, with at least [3] years in a senior or managerial role within a manufacturing business.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and manufacturing cost structures.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
Reasonable MS Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to identify trends or discrepancies in financial data.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Strong grasp on Tax related transactions OPTIONAL BUT PREFERRED
