Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and inventory management.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability.
- Ensure timely tax compliance and assist with internal and external audits.
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management review.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with management to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CA qualification is preferred).
Experience
- 1-2 years of professional accounting experience,
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
