• Review and understanding of programme documents (manual) as well as strategy documents in detail for understanding the Orphan Sponsorship program mandate/deliverables relevant to your role. 
  • Lead on management of internal (Programme, Finance, SC and S, other departments) and external (government departments, clusters, other organization’s representatives working in assigned areas, community activists, guardian groups, child protection services providers, and sponsored families ) coordination & development of new proposals to meet the cluster needs 
  • Responsible for the development of an efficient referral mechanism by bridging the gap between sponsored families/communities and service providers.   
  • Analysing Alyateem data to design new and creative complementary interventions for orphans and other vulnerable children 
  • Lead on capacity-building initiatives of subordinates on a technical level to meet job requirements as well as documentation of performance feedback, grievance handling, and other day-to-day affairs. 
  • Ensure identification and assessment of new children by carrying out domestic visits to orphan families for sponsorship 
  • Responsible for maintaining a minimum 50 applications available online at any given time and 50 children to be ready for uploading (collectively). 
  • Ensure the signing of agreements with the sponsored orphan’s mother/guardian and maintain updated individual files as per policy. 
  • Make sure that a minimum of two visits should be carried out every year, one visit at home while the second visit can be carried out in gatherings and cluster meetings.  
  • Effective monitoring of the allocated families to ensure sponsorship amount is properly utilized to improve the condition of Housing, Health, Education, and Nutrition. 
  • Provide the sponsored children/families with psychosocial counseling as and when required. 
  • Organize guardians into groups and conduct their meetings during the second round of field visits. 
  • Raise awareness amongst groups on policy and procedures, child and woman rights and protection issues 
  • Facilitate in arrangement of IR Partner visits to project areas. Donor’s calls and meetings with sponsored families as per policy. 
  • Preparation of annual work plans against PMT (performance-measured time frame) by ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks in the stipulated time period. 
  • Responsible for extending administrative support to relevant cluster/department in the disbursement of sponsorship amount, logistics, purchase & delivery of services to orphans. 
  • Ensure availability of sponsored children's bank account details for timely disbursement of sponsorship amount on a quarterly basis through strong coordination and follow-up with sponsored families and finance departments. 
  • Ensure that the allocated families receive sponsorship money in time and complaints are resolved in time. 
  • Families are informed about additional gift amounts and gifts are ensured to be used as per donor/partner guidelines. 
  • Maintenance of hard records that includes assessment records, legal documents, progress report forms, scorecards, school progress reports, and other documentation. 
  • Ensure appropriate beneficiary’s data collection and screening prior to making any transaction 
  • Ensure proper filling of forms and formats as per desired standards 
  • Extend support to MEAL / Communications on a and when-required basis.  
  • Close coordination with line manager and team members for effective implementation of project activities.
