KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Maintain strong working relationships with different departments, particularly the media and communications team
Support to the Media and Communications department in managing donor database comprising of numbers, details, and particulars.

SCOPE AND AUTHORITY

Scope of the Role:

Directly reporting to the Media and Communications Coordinator
The position is of learning level so no specific scope and authority can be furnished apart from learning and grooming

Responsibility for Resources:

Extending secretarial support to the media and communications department in updating hard and soft material

KEY LEARNINGS

The following are the main learnings that the role holder will experience:
Collecting donor data from different platforms and mediums
Creating a database of all data
Communicating with donors and answering queries
Assist in drafting and pitching new asks and appeals
Collaborating with the team on new ideas, directions, and venues for communications-related activities
Assist in developing social media content (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
Assist with special events
