KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Work closely with SPO, CDO and field staff to support CHS commitments and accountability components are addressed n IR response projects.
Support the development and delivery of gender, disability inclusive, humanitarian projects/programmes under protection mainstreaming umbrella.
Support P&I Specialist for network with key external stakeholders to find areas of collaboration, best practice, innovation, knowledge sharing and partnerships.
Identify training needs and build the capacity of IR local staff on safeguarding, gender, disability inclusion and protection.
Ensure SAD data collection mechanisms are in place and data is collected and analysed periodically.
Conduct field levels conflict sensitivity analysis exercise with relevant stakeholders and ensure IR programmes “Do no harm” in their communities.
Ensure gender, age and diversity analysis is done and updated regularly to respond to beneficiaries needs.
Support on gender, disability inclusion and protection for new bids and proposals to ensure it is weaved into planning phase.
Proactively exchange learning and synergy with all involved stakeholders.
Drafts relevant sections of reports of humanitarian projects required for donors and management.
Collaborate with Monitoring and Evaluation personnel for timely evaluation of projects.
Participate and influence external platforms on disability, protection and inclusivity.
Preparation of weekly / monthly work plans by ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks in stipulated time period.
Maintenance of hard record that includes field visits reports, meeting minutes, data, record & other documentation.
Close coordination with line manager for effective implantation of safeguarding, gender, protection and inclusion initiatives.
Ensure compliance with IR’s policies & procedures in true spirit for effective delivery of services to communities.
In depth understanding of IR values and their demonstration in the field while working with communities.
Abide by the IR zero tolerance policy towards harassment, bulling, violence, bribery & corruption through sensitization / empowerment of communities on coping mechanism so that they can raise voice as & when feel inappropriate.
Thorough knowledge of IR strategic priorities to ensure effective implementation with future sustainability.
Assist in identification & documentation of organizational successes for show casing IR work.
Focused efforts to ensure rights holders, (including people with disability, older people, minorities, women, and children) communities, vendors, interns, volunteers and etc. in consultation & implementation of project activities at ground.
Strengthen mechanism to Influence the decision makers through communities to pay attention towards DRR planning, give voice to suffering and the excluded, highlighting the protection needs of people.
Participation and facilitation in implementation of IR seasonal programmes.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and sympathy with the organizational values & principles, vision and mission as well as commitment to its PSEAH (preventing sexual exploitation abuse and harassment) protocols. Qualification & Experience:
University degree in one of the relevant areas- Sociology, International Law, Human Rights, Psychology, Social Science or Gender and Development Studies.
Experience:
3 Years with Master's and 5 years with Bachelor's degree
Computer Skills:
MS Office, Outlook, ERP systems familiarity,
Language:
Urdu, English and Sindhi

· Strong emotional intelligence and resilience, and able to maintain self-control in difficult situations.
· Able to work under extreme conditions in field areas.
· Good communication skills in local as well as English / Urdu language which delivers information with clarity in a wide range of situations.
