We are looking for a Remote IT Engineer to join our global technology team. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced individual who can work independently to manage IT infrastructure, support end-users, and implement cloud and security solutions across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

Deliver remote technical assistance for hardware, software, and network issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated IT problems quickly and efficiently.

Infrastructure & Systems

Manage Windows and Linux servers, workstations, firewalls, and networking equipment.
Monitor infrastructure performance and implement optimizations.

Cloud Services

Deploy and manage cloud platforms
Support migrations, backups, and disaster recovery planning.

Productivity Tools

Administer and support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.
Configure email, calendars, collaboration apps, and access policies.

Security & Compliance

Enforce cybersecurity best practices across systems and users.
Monitor for threats, conduct audits, and maintain compliance documentation.

Documentation & Collaboration

Maintain detailed technical documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
Collaborate with team members on IT projects and continuous improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
3+ years in a remote IT support or infrastructure engineering role.

Proficiency with:

Windows Server, Ubuntu/Linux, LAMP stack
Office 365 and Google Workspace administration
Virtualization: VMWare, Hyper-V
Networking: Firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP
VoIP systems (Asterisk, Elastix) is a plus
Excellent communication and remote troubleshooting skills.
Industry certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco) are an advantage.
