Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated healthcare professional to join our team, providing essential support in clinical and research settings related to Obstetrics and Gynecology. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in counseling participants, managing data, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth project execution. Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for counseling participants, ensuring that informed consent is obtained in a respectful and supportive manner. They will manage the submission of self-testing kits to AKU laboratories, maintaining accuracy and timeliness. Data entry and management are critical components of the role, requiring meticulous attention to detail to ensure data integrity.
Attendance at Gynecology or Family Medicine clinics will be required as part of the job duties, providing hands-on support and facilitating clinical processes. Coordination with various departments—including Pathology, Gynecology, Family Medicine, and Community Health Sciences—is essential to maintain effective communication and streamline project activities.
Additionally, the candidate will actively participate in project-related training sessions and meetings, contributing to continuous learning and alignment with project goals.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in medicine (MBBS) or Nursing (BScN or an equivalent qualification) from a recognized institution. A minimum of one year of experience working in Obstetrics and Gynecology settings is required, with a preference for those who have direct experience in Gynecology.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with clinical and research teams. The ability to provide empathetic and clear guidance to participants is a key aspect of the role.
