Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven professional to join our team as a Software Development Project Acquisition Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, bidding on, and securing software development projects primarily through Upwork. These projects include web and mobile applications as well as custom software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a strategic approach to client engagement, and the ability to coordinate effectively between clients and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Actively search for and identify software development projects on Upwork, focusing on web applications, mobile apps, and bespoke software solutions.
- Craft tailored proposals and cover letters that highlight our expertise and clearly communicate the value and benefits to potential clients.
- Manage all client communications promptly and professionally, including responding to messages, scheduling and conducting discovery calls, and following up on submitted proposals.
- Pitch innovative ideas and customized solutions to prospective clients, while negotiating project terms, timelines, and pricing to align with both client needs and company capabilities.
- Serve as the liaison between clients and internal technical teams, ensuring that project scopes are clearly defined, delivery timelines are realistic, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to continuously refine pitching strategies and enhance service offerings.
- Maintain detailed records of all bids, conversion rates, and project progress, and provide regular reports on performance metrics to management.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in securing software development projects, preferably through freelance platforms such as Upwork.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write compelling proposals and conduct effective client conversations.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate project terms and manage client expectations professionally.
- Experience coordinating between clients and technical teams to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
- Solid understanding of software development processes and terminology related to web and mobile applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and track multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong focus on achieving targets and driving business growth.
