Inventory Audit Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough and surprise audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct both scheduled and surprise inventory audits to verify stock levels across warehouses and storage areas.
- Ensure that physical stock counts align precisely with recorded inventory data.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve any discrepancies, shortages, or overages in inventory.
- Report inconsistencies promptly to management and suggest corrective actions to address issues.
- Maintain and update accurate inventory records using inventory management software and systems.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports for internal review and external stakeholders as required.
- Ensure all inventory handling and storage practices comply with established company policies and safety standards.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with warehouse, procurement, and finance teams to support seamless inventory operations.
