Field Engineer/ Sr. Engineer (Electrical)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented ATM Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) by addressing hardware and software issues, performing installations, and conducting preventive maintenance. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to maintain high service standards and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
- Attend to and resolve daily complaints related to both software and hardware issues on ATMs, ensuring prompt and effective solutions to minimize customer disruption.
- Install new ATMs at designated locations, following all technical and safety protocols to guarantee proper setup and functionality.
- Prepare and submit all necessary documentation and engineering reports to relevant authorities, maintaining accurate records for compliance and operational tracking.
- Identify root causes of recurring problems on assigned ATMs and implement corrective measures to prevent repeated complaints, thereby enhancing machine reliability.
- Perform on-site refurbishment tasks to restore ATMs to optimal working condition, including hardware repairs and upgrades as needed.
- Complete 100% of scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities on ATMs to proactively address potential issues and extend the lifespan of equipment.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing ATM hardware and software components.
- Strong technical knowledge of ATM systems, including installation, maintenance, and refurbishment processes.
- Ability to accurately document technical activities and communicate effectively with internal teams and external authorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying and resolving recurring issues to improve service quality.
- Willingness to perform on-site tasks, including refurbishment and preventive maintenance, often requiring travel to various locations.
- Commitment to completing all assigned preventive maintenance tasks to ensure continuous ATM operation.
