Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing timely IT support and troubleshooting, maintaining hardware, software, and network systems, and assisting with system upgrades and data backups. This role requires a proactive approach to resolving technical issues and supporting end-users to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive IT support and troubleshooting to resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Maintain and manage all hardware components, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripheral devices, ensuring they operate efficiently.
- Oversee software installations, updates, and patch management to keep systems secure and up to date.
- Monitor and maintain network systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure reliable connectivity and performance.
- Assist in planning and executing system upgrades to enhance overall IT infrastructure capabilities.
- Perform regular data backups and recovery procedures to safeguard critical business information.
- Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to support organizational technology needs.
- Document technical procedures, incidents, and resolutions to maintain an accurate knowledge base.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in providing IT support and troubleshooting across various hardware and software platforms.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and network infrastructure.
- Experience with system upgrades, software deployment, and data backup solutions.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to assist non-technical users and document processes clearly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
While not mandatory, certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are highly desirable. Experience with specific operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and familiarity with cloud services will be considered an advantage.
