Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Audit Manager to lead and oversee comprehensive IT audit engagements across infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud environments, data privacy, and application controls. The successful candidate will design and execute risk-based audit plans that align with organizational priorities, ensuring robust IT governance and compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to identify risks and recommend actionable improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT audit projects covering key areas such as IT infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks, cloud services, data privacy protocols, and application controls.
- Develop and implement risk-based audit plans tailored to the organization’s strategic objectives and risk appetite.
- Conduct thorough assessments of IT general controls (ITGCs), including system development lifecycle processes, change management procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
- Evaluate compliance with established frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, and regulatory requirements including SOX, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
- Collaborate closely with IT, security, compliance, and business units to gain a comprehensive understanding of risks and operational challenges, providing clear and practical recommendations to mitigate identified issues.
- Prepare detailed, well-structured audit reports that clearly communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior auditors or consultants, guiding them through audit methodologies and best practices to ensure quality deliverables.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and conduct follow-up reviews to verify that identified risks have been adequately addressed.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of IT controls, cybersecurity principles, ERP systems, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Proven experience designing and executing IT audits in complex organizational environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and develop effective audit strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present audit findings and influence stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities to handle multiple audit engagements and deadlines efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
