Senior CAD Drafter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Civil 3D Drafter to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and modifying detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using Civil 3D software. This role involves preparing essential design elements such as grading, surfaces, alignments, corridors, and pipe networks for a variety of civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all deliverables meet project specifications, client standards, and comply with relevant industry codes and municipal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and revise 2D and 3D engineering drawings utilizing Civil 3D to support civil engineering projects.
- Prepare and manage grading plans, surface models, alignments, corridors, and pipe networks accurately.
- Produce plan, profile, and cross-section sheets that adhere strictly to project requirements and client standards.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable industry codes, municipal regulations, and project-specific guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, surveyors, and other project team members to integrate various design components seamlessly.
- Create, update, and maintain CAD standards, templates, and comprehensive project documentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Provide assistance in training and mentoring junior drafters and designers, fostering skill development within the team.

Required Qualifications
- High proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with hands-on experience in grading, alignments, plans and profiles, corridors, and utility design.
- Solid understanding of civil engineering principles related to roadway design, drainage systems, and site development.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving and organizational skills to manage multiple project tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling clear and professional interaction with team members and clients.
