Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT and Security Systems Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading CCTV surveillance equipment as well as managing a variety of IT hardware and network systems. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise in video surveillance technology, computer hardware, software, and network infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation of all IT and security systems, provide technical support to staff, and maintain the integrity and security of company data and networks.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and replace CCTV equipment including IP cameras, Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches, Network Video Recorders (NVR), and other components used in video surveillance systems.
- Configure and set up computer hardware, software, network devices, printers, scanners, and other peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage the procurement, repair, and replacement of IT equipment as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets and inventory, ensuring all equipment is tracked and accounted for.
- Provide timely technical support and troubleshooting assistance to company staff, addressing hardware, software, and network issues effectively.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect data, control network access, and manage backup systems to safeguard company information.
- Set up new network infrastructures and maintain existing networks to ensure reliable connectivity and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve network hardware and software problems with strong troubleshooting skills, minimizing downtime and disruptions.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience installing and maintaining CCTV systems, including IP cameras, PoE switches, and NVRs.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware, software installation, and peripheral configuration.
- Proficiency in network setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including knowledge of wired and wireless technologies.
- Experience with IT asset management and inventory control.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of data security principles, network access controls, and backup systems to ensure information protection.
- Excellent communication skills to provide clear technical support and collaborate with team members.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
