Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to join our team and provide essential technical assistance across various systems and software platforms. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, supporting staff with technical issues, and ensuring system reliability. This position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and a foundational understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and network support.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with SAP-related tasks and other system functions to support business operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to internet connectivity, computer hardware, and software applications.
- Provide timely and effective technical support to staff members, addressing their IT concerns and queries.
- Set up, configure, and maintain IT systems, ensuring they are operating optimally.
- Support user account management by assisting with login issues, password resets, and access permissions.
- Perform routine software updates and assist in system testing to maintain security and functionality.
- Identify and resolve basic network issues, applying troubleshooting techniques to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with IT team members to escalate complex problems and contribute to continuous improvement of IT services.

Required Qualifications

- Basic understanding of ERP systems, with a preference for experience or familiarity with SAP.
- Fundamental knowledge of network concepts and troubleshooting methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose technical issues efficiently.
- Good communication skills to provide clear and patient support to non-technical staff.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic experience with software installation, updates, and system configuration.
