Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Backend Systems Administrator to manage and support the bakery chain’s software platform built on Microsoft Dynamics (CRM/ERP). This role is critical in ensuring seamless backend operations, resolving technical issues, and maintaining system integrity across multiple outlets. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between branch teams, operations staff, and the IT/development department to enhance system performance and user experience. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide hands-on support both remotely and on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage backend operations of the bakery chain’s software system, specifically built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and ERP modules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or technical issues reported by branch teams or operations personnel promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate closely with the internal IT and development teams to escalate complex issues and contribute to system improvements and upgrades.
- Administer user roles, permissions, and workflow configurations within Microsoft Dynamics to ensure appropriate access and operational efficiency.
- Provide training and ongoing support to bakery staff on basic system functionalities, including report generation and daily usage best practices.
- Monitor and maintain smooth day-to-day system functioning across all bakery outlets, ensuring consistent performance and reliability.
- Generate and analyze performance reports from the system, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to management for informed decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and ERP systems, with a strong understanding of their backend operations.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management, billing processes, and staff role structures specific to bakery or retail operations.
- Solid knowledge of backend systems, including database management and user access configuration within enterprise software environments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise between technical teams and non-technical branch staff.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to quickly diagnose and resolve system-related issues.
- Willingness and ability to travel to various bakery outlets for on-site system support and training as required.
- Basic proficiency in SQL or backend database query languages is preferred to assist with data extraction and troubleshooting.
