Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CCTV Technician to install, maintain, and monitor comprehensive CCTV surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of cameras, recording devices, and related equipment to safeguard critical areas. This role requires technical expertise in both hardware and software aspects of CCTV systems, along with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and system maintenance. The CCTV Technician will work closely with IT and security teams to support system integration and upgrades, contributing to a secure and well-monitored environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs/NVRs, monitors, and cabling infrastructure.
- Monitor live CCTV footage vigilantly to detect and report any suspicious activities, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all critical zones.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to CCTV equipment promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain recording systems by managing data archiving processes, ensuring all footage is securely stored and easily retrievable when needed.
- Conduct regular system inspections and perform preventive maintenance to uphold system reliability and performance.
- Respond quickly to technical faults and camera outages, restoring functionality with minimal disruption.
- Accurately document all installations, configurations, maintenance activities, and incidents to maintain detailed records.
- Collaborate effectively with IT and security personnel to facilitate system integration, upgrades, and improvements.

Required Qualifications
- Solid understanding of IP-based camera systems and fundamental networking concepts.
- Experience working with DVR and NVR systems as well as surveillance management software.
- Ability to interpret and follow technical diagrams, manuals, and installation guides accurately.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix technical issues efficiently.
- High attention to detail and vigilance to ensure thorough monitoring and detection of irregular activities.
