Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Technical Solutions Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with potential clients to understand their unique business challenges and objectives. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and present customized technical solutions that leverage our company’s products and services. As a key contributor throughout the sales cycle, you will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring that proposed solutions are both feasible and aligned with client needs. This position requires strong communication skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with sales and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with potential clients to gather detailed requirements and gain a deep understanding of their business challenges and goals.
- Design and present tailored technical solutions that meet client needs by utilizing the company’s products or services effectively.
- Deliver compelling presentations and live demonstrations to highlight product capabilities and demonstrate the business value of proposed solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to assist in preparing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), as well as developing technical documentation and comprehensive solution proposals.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process by addressing client questions, clarifying technical details, and ensuring the practicality and feasibility of the solutions offered.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a client-facing technical role, preferably within a solutions consulting, pre-sales engineering, or technical sales environment.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience delivering live demos and engaging diverse audiences.
- Solid understanding of the company’s product portfolio and how to apply these offerings to solve business challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and contribute to the development of RFP/RFI responses and technical proposals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
