Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Inspector specializing in office furniture manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials, in-process components, and finished products meet stringent design and quality standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with production and design teams to maintain and enhance product quality. The Quality Inspector will also play a key role in training staff on quality protocols and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO and HSE.

Key Responsibilities
The Quality Inspector will conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished office furniture to verify compliance with established design specifications and quality benchmarks. Routine quality checks will focus on critical aspects such as dimensions, finishes, stability, and overall craftsmanship to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.

When defects or inconsistencies are identified, the inspector will coordinate closely with production teams to implement corrective actions promptly, minimizing disruptions and maintaining production efficiency. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date quality documentation and inspection records is essential for traceability and continuous improvement.

Collaboration with design and production departments is vital to ensure that product designs are practical and feasible for manufacturing without compromising quality. The inspector will also conduct regular audits of production processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable solutions to enhance overall quality and efficiency.

In addition to inspection duties, the Quality Inspector will organize and lead training sessions for staff and laborers, focusing on quality protocols, best practices, and compliance requirements. This training ensures that all team members are aligned with the company’s quality standards and understand their role in maintaining product excellence.

Ensuring adherence to ISO standards, Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, and other industry-specific quality requirements is a critical part of the role. The Quality Inspector will monitor compliance and support initiatives that promote a safe and quality-focused work environment.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must possess a strong understanding of materials commonly used in office furniture, including knowledge of joinery techniques, finishing processes, and ergonomic considerations. The ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints is essential, as is proficiency in using various measuring instruments to verify product specifications.

Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills are crucial for identifying defects and assessing product quality. Effective communication and reporting skills are necessary to document findings clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is highly desirable, as it will enable the candidate to contribute effectively to maintaining and improving quality standards within the organization.
