Senior Odoo Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Odoo Developer with expertise in versions 13 through 18+ to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Odoo modules tailored to meet diverse business needs. This role requires a strong technical background combined with the ability to analyze client requirements and translate them into effective Odoo solutions. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules across versions 13 to 18+, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze detailed business and client requirements, mapping them accurately to Odoo functionalities to deliver tailored solutions.
- Integrate third-party applications and APIs with the Odoo platform to enhance system capabilities and interoperability.
- Ensure smooth data flow and interoperability between Odoo and other internal systems, maintaining system integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Conduct thorough unit and integration testing to guarantee the quality and reliability of deliverables.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed modules and customizations to support future maintenance and upgrades.
- Assist in system upgrades and data migration processes when transitioning to newer Odoo versions, ensuring data accuracy and system stability.
- Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, QA teams, UI/UX designers, and end-users to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Participate actively in code reviews and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives to foster continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay current with the latest Odoo features, updates, and industry best practices to recommend and implement improvements.

Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python programming, PostgreSQL database management, and XML for module development.
- Deep understanding of the Odoo framework, including its ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) and QWeb templating engine.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript and jQuery; experience with Owl framework is considered an advantage.
- Proven experience in integrating APIs and third-party applications with Odoo to extend functionality.
- Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Solid knowledge of core business processes including Accounting, Sales, Inventory, Human Resources, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
